She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Scott and Clara Scott (Langille); her husband Doug Gayton; her daughter Cheryl Gayton; her great grandchild Robert Carde; and her siblings, Roland, Lloyd Scott, Freda Patriquin, Hilda Stevens, Hazel Trenholm and Ida Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Norton (Jean), Kenneth Norton, Kindersley, Sask, Karen Langille, Kimberly Norton (John Beardsmore), Brian Gayton, Scott Gayton and Darren Gayton (Cassandra MacKay); and her sister Helen Greenwood (George). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
