He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Howard LeFresne and Pearl LeFresne (Mattatall); his sister Ruthie Carruthers; and his siblings-in-law, Lee Carruthers and Margie LeFresne.

He is survived by: his brothers, Earl (Odette Surette) and Jimmie (Shelley); his nieces and nephews, Bobbie LeFresne (Wanda), Alicia Mattinson (Donnie), Michael Carruthers (Charlene), Timothy Carruthers (Jiyin), Erin Pope (Peter) and Jane LeFresne (Julien LeFebvre); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan, Mallory, Lindsay, Cameron, Taylor, Jessica, Jaemin, Jaein and Joy; and also Levi.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sharon United Church (15 Church St, Tatamagouche, NS B0K1V0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lockerby Memorial Cemetery.
