It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Hillier of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, born in Pictou, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Muriel Hillier (Cole); his great grandchild Leni Hillier; his stepbrother Fred Spinney; his brothers-in-law, Willis Cole (Anne) and Ernest Cole (Elsie); his mother Violet Maude Hillier; his stepfather William Spinney; and his mother-in-law Margaret Cole.

He is survived by: his son Rick (Sandra) of Charlottetown, PEI; his grandsons, Ian Hillier of Charlottetown, PEI and Ryan Hillier of Riverview, N. B.; his great grandchildren, Lachlan, Patrick and Elliot; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Sutherland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
