George Wayne Halverson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Wayne Halverson of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, born in Truro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 19, 2022 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Wayne Halverson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Douglas and Margaret Jean Halverson (Matheson); his brothers, Keith and Jack Halverson; and his half-sisters, Irene Core and Geneva Fynn.
He is survived by: his children, Julia Townshend (Nathan) and Brent Halverson (Kayla Conoley); his grandchildren, Conan Conoley, Donovan Townshend and Ronan Townshend; his siblings, Jeanne Edwards, Ken Halverson, Shirley Langille, Joyce Halverson, Harold Halverson, Debbie Halverson, Marjorie Sorensen and June Mann; and his close friend Evonne Raine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
