He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Murray and Marjorie Murray (Little); his wife Geneva (Matheson); his sons, Darren and David; his brother Malcolm; and his daughter-in-law Shelley Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell and Debbie Flanagan (David). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren as well as two great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
