Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David Ray Carruthers of Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 73, on June 20, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Carruthers and Margaret Carruthers (Bell); and his son Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Boyd); his sister Beth of Tatamagouche; his children, Sara Kelemen (Scott) and James Carruthers (Rivi); and his grandchildren, Sebastien, Piper Kelemen and Rhys Carruthers. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
He played a significant role in making the church's IT systems function properly, especially during the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made in David's memory to The Beatrice Hunter Cancer Research Institute or to Sharon United Church.
