It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Winnifred MacIver of Sydney, Nova Scotia, born in Ingonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John MacIver of Sydney; her parents, Henry Roper and Catherine Roper (Hardy); her sister Norma Fraser; and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Fraser and Gordon Hardy.
She is survived by: her sons, Glenn (Gail) and Robert (Shawna Casagrande); her grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica), Alyson MacIver (Kyle Melanson) and Alaska; her great grandchildren, Brina, Izzy, Luna, Bentley and Xander; and also Stella Hardy.
Memorials may be made to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
