He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph MacKinnon and Lily MacKinnon (Cunliffe); and his siblings, Danny, Michael, Philip, Mary, Sabina, Margaret and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen MacKinnon (Whiffen); his siblings, Jack, Peter (Terry), Annie Mae and Melinda; his great-niece Amanda MacLeod; and his great-nephew Trevor MacKinnon. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
