He was predeceased by: his parents, J. William Crane and Lena Crane; his former wife Barbara; his son-in-law Dave Gardiner; his granddaughter Jennifer Gardiner; his father-in-law Henry Boutilier; his siblings, Rose (late Angus MacAskill), Ollie (late Bert Drover), Geraldine (late Bill Ayre), Gertie Mollons and George (late Sue); and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Boutilier (late Jean) and Sam Boutilier.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn "Toni"; his children, Shirley Gardiner, Nancy Shepard (Butch), Donna Crane (James Baker), Wanda (Joe McNeil), Everett Grant (Kerry) and Daryl Grant (Corrie); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Kelly Enslen), David Gardiner (Janaia McCormack), Danielle (Craig Bond), Paul, Matthew, Nicole Shepard, Alicia Baker, Jodi McNeil, Keegan McNeil, Ashley Grant (Skylar Peterson) and Eva Grant; his grandson-in-law John McNeil; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Ashton Enslen, Elizabeth, Christopher McNeil, Ben Peterson, Elliot and Lucas Bond; his siblings, Hazel (late Stan Kozera), Linda (Ivan Henderson), Anne (late Rob McDonald), Alonzo (late Margie), John (Doris), Robert (Vangie) and Ron (Helen); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Boutilier, Bev Boutilier and Gerald Boutilier (late Ruth). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and members.

Family flowers only, in lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of one's choice.
