William Arthur Walker Obituary
The memory of William Arthur Walker (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walker and Elsie Walker of Sydney Mines; and his siblings, Frank Walker (Marion), Donald Walker (Lil), Ellen Clark (Ernie) and Vera Young (John).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Walker; his daughter Barbara Poswiata (Michael); his stepsons, Shane Walker (Pauline) and Brian Walker (Darlene); his grandchildren, Justin Poswiata, Lindsay Whynot, Nicholas Walker, Avery Walker, David Walker, Laura Walker, Kevin Walker and Kyle Walker; his great grandchildren, Hayden Whynot, Shylo Whynot and Coralee Walker; and his sister Irene Wright (Gordon) of Lunenburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3).
In lieu of flowers the family kindly request that donations be made to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Dad's memory.
