She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel "Gerard"; her parents, Russell Bond and Elizabeth Bond (Musseau); her daughter Darlene; her brothers, Russell and Doug; her sister-in-law Rita Bond; her parents-in-law, Johnny and Ann Holic; and her brother-in-law Jackie.

She is survived by: her children, Gerard (Cindy) and Laurie Hancock (Gordie); her grandchildren, Gerard Jr. (Michelle), Jenna (Scott MacNeil), Morgan (J. D. Simec) and Lucas; her great grandchildren, Vaida, Marlo, Khloe and Aubree; her brothers, Don (Ann) and Allan (Kathy); her sisters-in-law, Rodina Bond, Barb MacIntyre and Heather Cordero; her parents-in-law, Ann Marie (Mel), Michael (Donna), Cecilia (Kenny) and Rita; and her close friend Carl MacKeigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
