Shirley Lillian Ford Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Lillian Ford of Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. MacDonald and Lillian Jane MacDonald (Abbott) of Fraser Avenue; her siblings, Betty Mauger (Elizabeth), Kenneth, Keith and John Jr.; and her grandson Scott Ford.

She is survived by: her husband Henry Ford; her children, Gary (Johanne) of Saint John, NB, Paul (Elizabeth) of Leitches Creek and Joanne (Carl Andrews) of Sydney; her grandchildren, Nicole Ferris, Jonathan Ford, Rebecca (Lennon Jerrott) and Eric Lewis; her siblings, Lillian McGean of Bras, Yvonne White of Millville, Wayne MacDonald (Corrine) of Sydney and Bruce MacDonald (Barbara) of Sydney Mines; and her daughter-in-law Beth Ford.

Covid-19 restrictions will be in place with the wearing of masks, proof of vaccination and photo ID and limited seating in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Northside General Hospital.
