She was loved and cherished by many people including: her close friend Amanda; her son Shea (Anna); her grandchild Riley; her grandmother Rose (Sophia Marie); her pets, Shemus and Clancy; her grandmother Khaleesi; her sisters, Brenda, Lillian (Bob) and Dolores; her sister-in-law Jeanette; her mother-in-law Josephine; her parents, Joe Matthews and Dorothy Matthews; her brother Joel; her father-in-law Ernie; and her brother-in-law Brian. She was also cherished by her many friends and co-workers.
In lieu of flowers, given that Mom was a cancer survivor, donations may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Centre or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Westmount United Church Memorial Fund, the Highland Arts Theatre (HAT) or charity of one's choice.
