Ronald William Reid Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald William Reid (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reid and Patricia Reid (Wells); his sister Sandra Lee Duke; and his stepmother Elizabeth "Bessie". He is survived by: his wife Mary-Arlene (Bond); his sons, Ron (Heidi) and Rob; his grandchildren, Hudson William and Rayna Jean; his siblings, Donna Jupe (Ken) of Nanaimo, BC and Sheldon (Jeannette) of Comox, BC; his stepbrother Wally MacLeod (Sydney); and his aunt Eileen MacLean.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to MS Canada, the Canadian Liver Foundation, Praise FM (Ron was a founding board member) or a charity of your choice.
