He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia L. (MacDonald) of Souris, PE; his parents, John J. "Super" McNeil and Frances McNeil (Bruce); and his siblings, Roy McNeil and Jeannette McCarron.
He is survived by: his children, Ian, Sydney, Janice Knapp (Jeff) of Port Williams, NS, Bruce (Kim Laybourne) of Nelson, BC, Lorna (Robert Carroll) of Islandview, CB and Peter (Denise) of Lower Sackville, NS; his siblings, Russell McNeil, New Victoria, Richard McNeil of Ajax, ON and Joan Devine of Thorold, ON; and his brothers-in-law, Paul MacDonald (Mary) of Calgary, AB and David MacDonald (Naida) of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
