He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Karen Bedard (Chris Sinal), Linzey Bedard (Derek Hart), Nicole Bedard (Dale Glancey), Sydney, Garth of Halifax, Michael (Sarah Maher) of Halifax and Jeffrey (Lily Daimen) of Halifax; his grandchildren, Ben and Katie; and his brother Gerard Bedard.
