We are sad to announce that on January 6, 2025, at the age of 65, Richard James Muise (Sydney, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick Muise and Margaret Muise (Sampson); and his sister Alison Shanahan (Muise). He is survived by: his siblings, Donna (Donald MacPherson), Laura Muise, Annette (Brian Keough) and Roddie; his brother-in-law Patrick Shanahan; his nephew Scott MacPherson; his nieces, Cristin Shanahan and Caitlin Shanahan; and his great-nephew Braydon Johnson-MacPherson.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3).

Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetic Association or a charity of your choice.
