He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Assoun and Helen Assoun (O'Day); his significant other Sylvia (Aucoin); and his brothers, David, Ron, Lewis and John Assoun.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy McNeil (Hamilton), Jim (Denice) and Peter Assoun (Hamilton); his stepchildren, Frank Aucoin (Janice), Darlene Humby, Rick Aucoin and Kathy Ryan (Troy); and his siblings, Kim Assoun Ivany, Ken Assoun, Kevin Assoun (Brenda) and Glen Assoun.
