He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Ramey and Evelyn Ramey (Foley); his wife Frances (Hurst); his sister Elizabeth "Jo" White; his brothers-in-law, Ted White, Sidney Hurst and James Williams; his brothers, Robert and Victor; and his sister-in-law Martha Ramey.

He is survived by: his children, Louis (Susan) and Carol-Anne (Leeann); his grandchildren, Natasha (Chris), Joanie, Mandy (Danny), Nicole (Joe), Tanya (Chantel) and Johnny; his great grandchildren, Derrek, Lucas, Matthew, Noelle and Hunter; his sister Phyllis Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Hurst (Arlene), Joan Hurst, Ont and Wendy (Teofil). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
