He was predeceased by: his parents, Wellington Rafuse and Janet Rafuse (Rutledge); and his siblings, Mildred Sampson and Milton. He is survived by: his wife Margie (Bennett); his children, Scott (Laura), Suzann MacLeod (Jackie) and Rachel; his grandchildren, Justin, Emma and Coltin; his brother Chester; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
