He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Marsman and Emma Marsman (Allison); his wife Marie; his siblings, Leothra, Alley, Jocelyn and Cecil; his in-laws, Malcolm, Adrian, Ronnie Morrison and Lorna Campbell; and his son-in-law Paul Price.

He is survived by: his children, Glenn Morrison, Debbie Morrison, Michael Morrison (Marion), Cindy (late Paul Price), Derrick Marsman (Margaret), Todd Marsman (Lillian) and Wendy Colleen Marsman; his grandchildren, Duane Morrison (Elaine), Chase Cambridge, Mark Marsman (Nadine), Jennifer Sheppard, Aaron, Jonathan, Elise Marsman, Todd Jr. MacDonald (Brittany), Brandon Marsman, Nicholle and Michael Jr. Morrison; his great grandchildren, Madison Marie, Alexis Hope Marsman, Chloe May Kuba, Jaden, Jordan Gouthro, Ariah, Janae Sheppard, Dax, Rylee MacDonald and Myrah Grace MacEachern; his siblings, Lula, Prevoe, Myrtle Marsman and Delano Marsman (Delores); and his in-laws, Art Morrison (Rose), Rita Morrison, Colleen MacPherson and Ann Cambell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pier Community Funeral Home (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
