She was predeceased by: her parents, Corneilus Bennett and Margaret Ann Herrell (Gallant); her husband Lawrence "Gig"; her siblings, Maynard Herrell (late Vera), Veron Herrell (Helen), Leo Herrell (Bernice), Clifford Herrell (late Helen), Annie Warren (late Ernest), Verda George (late Thomas), Eileen Grant (late Lorne), Gloria Batchilder (late Gerald), John Maynard Herrell and Bertha Herrell; her granddaughter Bailee May Clyke; and her sisters-in-law, Pal Williams Herrell and Martha Baxter Herrell.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Burke (Fernado), Joseph (Diane), John-Maynard, Betty Smith (Bill), Virginia Muise (Bill), Jacqueline and Glen (Michelle); her sister Velda Bell (late Albert); and her caregivers, Cathy, Tia, Denette, Bertha, Shauna, Wanda, Valerie, Brenda, Brent, Michael, Tracey, Debbie, Jamie, Richa, John MacDonald, Kim and Ann Marie. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mom requested in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Holy Redeemer Church Building Fund or the Boys and Girls Club of Whitney Pier.
