He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oakley and Jemima Oakley (Howard); his former wife Bridget "Biddie" (Cooke); his wife Diane (Morris); and his siblings, Ellen Oakley, Clara Pace, Wilfred "Bobby", Howard, Karl, Gerald and Walter.
He is survived by: his sister Laurel Buckingham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
