He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Roach and Elizabeth Roach (MacDonald); his former wife Mary Christina (MacNeil); and his wife Eunice (Hatch). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl (Bob), Tracey (Gil) and Kelly Roach; his sisters, Anne Marie Hicks (late Charles) and Theresa (Bruce); his grandchildren, Christine, Nicole, Christopher (Lisa) and Téa; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Melina, Ana, Victoria, Charlie and Erica; and his great great grandchild Benjamin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their children.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael may be made to the Last Post Fund in his name.
