Michael Collet Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Collet of Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Collet to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret "Peggy" Collet and Edmond Collet; his girlfriend Terri; his children, Jordan, Maria and Justin (Michaela); his stepchildren, Terry (Joann), Christian (Paula), Mark (Dawn), Krista, Poppy', Aiden, Poppy Mike', Alex, Alyssa, Austen and Ayden; his siblings, Gus of Soldiers Cove, Francie of Soldiers Cove, Willie (Joy) of Soldiers Cove, Julianna (Wayne) of Soldiers Cove, Madonna of Soldiers Cove and Mary Lizzie of Barra Head; his uncle Alphonse; his brother Leo; and his siblings-in-law, Colleen and Walter. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held.

In true Mike fashion, his last official act was a selfless one of organ donation providing the gift of sight to a complete stranger.
