She was predeceased by: her parent Bernadette'Peg' Monahan; her husband Leonard; her sons, Wayne and Donald; her son-in-law Cliff MacDougall; her siblings, Robert, Ronald Monahan, Sheila Swartzman and Doris Hughes; and her close friend Bert Monahan.

She is survived by: her children, Leona, Rochell (Rob), Marie (Peter) and Robert (Dawn); her daughter-in-law Wendy; her grandchildren, Jill, Melissa, Aimee McPhee, Adam, Sherry, Stacey Axworthy, Katie Long and Glenda McIntyre; and her sister Rochell Maxner. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
