We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2023, Mary MacKeigan (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Howie Center, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lottie Tobin and Ambroise Tobin; her husband Jack MacKeigan Senior; her brother Jimmy Tobin; and her pet Beanie.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Rose MacLeod (Donnie), Charlotte MacMullin (Robert) and Jack (Wendy); her sisters-in-law, Carmel MacKeigan and Mary Jewett; her grandchildren, Michael Power, Lindsey MacLeod (Terrance), Kayla Rose MacLeod (Shaun MacDonald), Corey MacKeigan and Kyle MacKeigan (Samantha Williams); her great grandchildren, Matthew, Callie, Lachlan, Brooke and Olivia; her sister Linda MacFadden (Les); and her friend Joan Gouthro.

Memorial donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the Cape Breton SPCA.
