With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Denise Deveaux (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 19, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul and Matilda; her husband John Joe; and her siblings, Theresa Desveau, Helene, William, Ned, Francis, Freddie, Placide, Patrice, Eddie and Moise.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Colbourne (David), Sydney, Donna MacLeod (Rick), Joseph, Gordie (Janice), Spry Bay and David; her sister Marguerite Briand (Clifford); her grandchildren, Whitney (Sharas), Felicia (Brandon), Adam (Danielle), Amanda, Brandon and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Sean, Alia, Bryson, Kieran, Angelica and Noelle; and her granddaughter Maxine.
Memorials may be made to the Cape Breton Cancer Center or the An Cala Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital or the IWK.
