With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Marguerite Cassie Covin-Mercer (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 24, 2023 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Covin and Josephine Covin (Wyrwas); and her brothers, Clifford, Hubbert, Roger and Terry.

She is survived by: her close friend Brian; her children, Crystal, Michelle, Angela and Adam; her grandchildren, Wade, Kiran, Breanna, Mitchell, Khoth, Lily and Chun; her siblings, Evangeline Crane (Robert), Charlottle Anne Ley (Allan), Patricia Covin (Billy) and Leo Covin (Joesphine); and her pets, Thelma and Tiny. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
