She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Duffitt and Elsie Duffitt (Boone) of Trinity Bay, NL.; her husband George Andrew Walker; her siblings, Nellie Stanley (Eldred), Lin Duffitt and Alex Duffitt; and her brother-in-law Thomas Lane.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Kellie) of Yarmouth and Heather Smith (Steven) of Coxheath; her grandson Tyler Smith; her siblings, Nita Lane and Bill Duffitt (Patricia); her sister-in-law Elsie Duffitt of Eastport, NL; and her stepgranddaughter Katlyn Robertson of Yarmouth.
