She is survived by: her daughters, Heather (Allan MacDougall), Neila (Jim Mullins) and Nancy (Kevin Sampson); her grandchildren, Angela (Tim Sanford), Justin Sampson (Annie Beth Oldford) and Janine Sampson (Joe Candelora); her great grandchildren, Rory, Gabby Sanford, Ben, Eliza and Noah Sampson; and her brother Gordon Carmichael (Ethel).
