With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel Wadden (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 17, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Mabel Wadden; her stepfather Alex Hall; her children, David (late Cathy), Dennis (Laura), Bernice Parsons (Henry), Elaine Rogez (Michael), Valerie Hanham (Victor), Frances Lahey (Raymond), Denise (Basil), Cavelle Baldwin, Linda Wadden, Paula Wadden and Chris Spenceley; her grandchildren, Charlene, Heather, Nicole, Tanya, Deanna, Jordan, Angie, Justin, Meghan, Andrew, Annie-Leigh, Michael-David, Joseph, Jeffrey, Andra, Brett, Chelsea, Sophia, Autumn, Bronwyn, Riley and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Taylor, Rian, Elsie, Ivy Mabel, Andre, Sebastian, Sloan, Connor, Ali, Ben and Blake; her sisters, Irene Lahey of Catalone and Carol Lahey of Sydney; her cousin Evelyn MacLeod of Sydney; her sisters-in-law, Joanie (John Allan), Jean (Walter), Margie, Jeanette, Bonnie and Pauline; her husband Dave; her sons, Tony and Allister; her daughter-in-law Cathy Wadden; and her brothers, Roddie and Alan. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a family service will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish, Main-A-Dieu on Tuesday, January 25 at 11 am with her good friend, Fr. Patrick O'Neil presiding, interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
