Loretta Barter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Barter (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Francois, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 6, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Fudge and Marie Fudge (Baggs); her brothers, Eric and Nathan; her father-in-law George; and her brother-in-law Wallace.

She is survived by: her husband Billy; her children, Lorrie (Blair) and Jonathan (Sabrina); her grandchildren, Morgan, Coby and Noah; her mother-in-law Winnie Barter; and her siblings-in-law, Rosie Lahey (Raymond), Andrew (Gladys), Raymond (Diane) and Calvin (Linda "Dinks"). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

Memorials may be made to St. Bartholomew's Church, Louisbourg or the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
