She was predeceased by: her parents, William Murphy and Phyllis Murphy (Lanceleve); her husband John "Jack" Redmond; her sisters, Mary Sullivan and Emelie MacVicar; her granddaughter Sarah Marie; and her son-in-law Paul Mombourquette.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Mombourquette, Anne Marie McLean (Steve), Bill Redmond (Rose) and John Redmond; her grandchildren, Amanda, Crystal, Allison Burke (Anthony), Shelby, John Michael and MacKenzie; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Delia, Chloe, Jack and Jasper; and her sister Heather Anderson (Donnie).
Memorials may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
