He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cormier and Helen Cormier (Moss); and his significant other Michelle Cormier (Fougere). He is survived by: his daughters, Renee (Josh Wruck) of Charlottetown, PE and Danielle (TJ Hart); his siblings, Bernadette Moss (Bill), Gordie (Helen) of Sydney and Dennis (Natalie) of Sydney; his in-laws, Lou and Marjorie Fougere; and his siblings-in-law, Rene of Moosenee, ON, Jenet Campbell and Janelle Osborne (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pier Community Funeral Home (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Redeemer Church (1135 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leo's memory to the Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
