He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Anthony and Jean Anthony (McGowan); his wife Geraldine (Routledge); his daughter Gail; his brother Beverley; and his siblings-in-law, Lillian, Dawna Anthony, Stewart Morris and David Gouthro.

He is survived by: his son David (Rebecca); his grandsons, Riley and Liam; his siblings, Lorna O'Day (Dennis) of Worchester, Mass., Carol Ann Manson (Jim) of Cornwall, ON, Betty Morris, Sonny, Westmount, Gordon, Oromocto and Weston; and his sister-in-law Patricia MacLellan (Freddy).

Memorials may be made to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.‍Funeral & Service Details: Service: No service at this time.
