He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Moore and Gus Moore; his brother John Sheldon; and his sister-in-law Lynda MacDonald. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth (MacDonald); his sisters, Iris Baryluk (Richard) and Gayle Strasser (John); his nephews, Andrew, Kirby and Richie; and his brother-in-law John.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when Covid-19 restrictions allow.

“I was sad when I heard of Kirby's passing. I got to know Kirby when he joined us with the Cape Breton Fiddlers Association. We went on the same trip to the Boston area a few years back.
