He was predeceased by: his father Wendell Joseph Carroll; his parents-in-law, Bob Purcell and Margaret "Dudy" Purcell; and his siblings-in-law, John Coleman and Anne Marie Wycliffe.
He is survived by: his mother Beverly Rose (Pledge); his significant other Jane (Purcell); his children, Sean of Logan Lake, BC and Katie (Cory Macinnis) of Sydney; his siblings, Coreen, Randy (Anndelyn) and Wendy (Jane); his stepmother-in-law Annette Purcell; and also Kim.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sydney Memorial Chapel (49 Welton St, Sydney, NS B1P5R3). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa's Church (285 St Peters Rd, Sydney, NS B1P4R2).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
