It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin Reginald Best (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Best and Mary M. Best (Corbett); his siblings, Frances 'Shine Corbett and Winston Best; and his nephew Alphonse Corbett.
He is survived by: his brother Jim Best; his sisters-in-law, Ethel Best and Sylvia Kuzyk; his children, Denise Fraser (Dwayne), Kevin Hewer (Wanda), Howard Borden and Hannah Grant (Brad); and his nephew Billy Corbett (Shirley). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Butch can be made to Diabetic Association of Canada, Cancer Patient Care Fund at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
