She was predeceased by: her grandmother Stella Muise; her brother Steven Francis; her stepfather John MacVicar; her former husband James Bartlett; and her father-in-law Michael Bartlett.
She is survived by: her mother Joan MacVicar (Muise); her husband Greg Sams; her children, Lindsey Palmer (Devon), Angela Bartlett (Adrian) and Jordan Francis; her grandchildren, Maisie and Hamish; and her close friend Jan.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hineni Church (105 Alexandra St, Sydney, NS B1S2E3).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
