He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lamont and Winnifred Rutherford (Bryson); his sons, David (Brenda), Walter (Cathy), Sydney and Gordie (Vivian) of Comox, BC; his sister Leona Dobbin; his grandsons, Michael, Geoffrey, Mark and Trevor; his siblings, Lailya, Ida, Grace, Ardella, Barbara, Lamont and Charles; his grandson Christopher; and also Helen (Fage). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
