It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Cathcart (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Cathcart and Kathleen Cathcart (Dauphinee); his sister-in-law Ellen; his parents-in-law, Johnny and Florence Burroughs; and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Burroughs Harland, Jack Burroughs and Joe MacDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Billie' Cathcart (Wilma Burroughs); his daughter Dawn Allyn (John); his sisters-in-law, Jean MacDonald, Sydney and Glenda Wilneff; and his godchildren, Kolbe Burns and Tasia Boucher. He is also survived by brother, Gerard, New York; many nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of John may be made to a charity of one's choice.
