It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vincent Kennedy (Sydney, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 21, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Neil Kennedy; his brother Neil; his grandchildren, Johnny Kennedy and Sondra Rizzetto; and his son-in-law Gilbert Oravcez.
He is survived by: his wife Sondra; his children, Vince Kennedy (Ann Marie), David Kennedy (Cathy), Derek Kennedy (Ellie) and Carol Kennedy Rizzetto; his grandchildren, Kyle, Jenna, Liz, Cammy, Manda, Breton, Kendra, Ashley, Jordan, Maria, Tony, Gianni and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Nolan, Alivia, Emma, Mia, Riley, Hannah May, Lucius, Cole, Myla and Luna; his siblings, Alex (Dolores), Paul (Pam), Steve (Liz), Archie, Joe, Helen and Dolores; and his sister-in-law Pricilla.
Covid protocols will be practiced at the service and for those unable to attend, Live Streaming will be available on our website.
It is requested that donations to the Children's Wish Foundation be made in memory of John, in lieu of flowers.
