He was predeceased by: his parents, Murdock Dan and Agnes MacLeod of Stirling; his wife Adele (Jessome); his son John Murdock; and his sister Christy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Frizzell and Lisa MacLeod; his grandchildren, Ryan and Rachel Frizzell; his brother Duncan; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Ann MacKinnon, Marjorie Mader, John Jessome, Larry Jessome and Peter Jessome. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
