He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Clarke and Jean Clarke (Ferguson); his wife Helen (Ellis); and his siblings, Robert Wayne, Rae and Walter.

He is survived by: his children, James (Michelle) and Linda; his granddaughter Faith; and his brother Blair (Joanne). He is also survived by several extended family members, nieces, nephews and cousins.
