We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2021, at the age of 80, Joeseph Cormier (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in New Waterford, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Cormier and Lucy Cormier (Doucet); his brother-in-law David Staley; his parents-in-law, Alexander Stanley and Mary Stanley (MacDougall); and his sister-in-law Sandra Cormier (Pottie).

He is survived by: his wife Allyson (Stanley); his daughter Ainsley Maree of Surrey, BC; his brothers, Chebot (Miriam), Richard, Daniel, Michael (Janet) and California; and his sister-in-law Sandy (Herbert).

Memorials may be made to the United Protestant Church of Sydney River or the Cancer Center at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
