It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Arlene MacLean (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Juniper, New Brunswick, who passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Spence and Mabel Spence (MacIntyre); her husband Kenneth; her siblings, Billy, Lorraine, Gail and Barbara; and her son-in-law Barry Laite.
She is survived by: her daughters, Margie Babineau (Donnie Porter), Whitney Pier, Linda Duff (Brent), Joanne Laite (Sean Frison), Sydney, Carol Ann (Gordie), Lynk and Grande Prairie; her brother Darrell (Sydney); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan), Kristine (Mitch), Victoria, Rhonda, Cory, Bella and Tristen; and her great grandchildren, Takara, Tylen, Sophie, Jack and Riley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
