She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Allen and Mary Allen (Moulton); her husband Alexander "Alex" Lloyd MacDonald; her son Owen; her siblings, Rita Drover, Arthur, Jack and Ralph; and her close friend Ted Tracey.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah, Corinne (Francis), Sydney River and Lloyd (Chotika); her grandchildren, Julie MacDonald, Charlotte Price, Christopher MacDonald (Caitlyn), Kimberly Aucoin (Jason) and Joshua Nichols (Jennifer); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Abby, Scott, Sage, Scarlett, Olivia, Dustin, Randy and Ethan.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jessie may be made to Hospice Cape Breton.
