She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward "Ned" Dicks and Margaret Dicks (Gaskell); her husband Walter; her daughter Faith Horne; and her siblings, Karen Brandon, Gladys Furlotte, James and Lloyd Dicks.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie MacLennan (Alex), Vernon Oakley (Florence) and Edward "Eddie" Oakley (Cathy); her son-in-law Albert Horne; and her siblings, Rose Deveaux, Jessie Lackie (Joe), Sammy (Eva) and Georgie (Margie). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
