James Hector Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Hector Brown (Sydney, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Brown and Shirley Brown (Parsons); his sister Georgina; and his niece Lisa. He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann (Donald), Barry (Crystal) and James; his grandchildren, Jessica and Abby Brown; his fiancé Pattilynn MacKinnon; his partner's daughter Hannah; his siblings, Danny (Anita), Bradley (Suzanne), Danette, Shirley and Lisa (Jamie); and the mother of his children Donna Vatcher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Pier Community Funeral Home (1092 Victoria Rd, Sydney, NS B1N1L1).
Donations in memory of James may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation.
